TRADITIONAL PRODUCE & FINE FOOD

At Oak Tree Farm we sell very special food, much of it produced locally, but all of it produced by people who love food and want you to enjoy a unique cullinary experience, and enjoy the very best flavours that Britain can produce.

Meats

Meats are a speciality of Oak Tree Farm Shop. We stock Beef, Pork & Lamb. Our meat comes from Free Range animals. All our Beef is properly hung using traditional methods to give it those old fashioned flavours, something that is missing from pre-packaged meat.

Poultry

Free range

Chickens are always available. Turkeys are reared for Christmas and Easter, but can be ordered at other times. Both white and bronze turkeys are available.

Game

Game including, Pheasant, Pigeons, Wild Duck, Hare, Rabbit, Grouse and Venison are all available in season.

Delicatessen

Our deli has a range of fine cheeses from small farm house producers. We have all the popular cheeses like cheddar and stilton (though these are the real thing), we also have goats cheese and cheeses from Wales, Devon and Somerset. We also have a range of home cooked meats which have all the subtle flavours which has been lost in mass produced food.

Eggs

Farm fresh hens eggs are always stocked. Goose eggs, Duck eggs, and Quails eggs are available in season.

Sausages

We are famous for our many varieties of sausages all of which are made on the premises using the finest ingredients. We also make our own burgers. Our sausages are made in the following delicious flavours: Minty Lamb, Garlic Supreme, Spicy Garlic, Spicy Beef, Old English, Plain Pork, Pork & Mustard, Pork & Chives, Lincolnshire, Pork & Chestnut, Pork & Apricot, Pork & Peppers, Pork & Tomato, Highland Scotch, Pork & Stilton, Venison (when in season), Italian Pork, Lamb & Rosemary, Chili, Cider & Apple, Louisiana, Traditional Farmhouse, and Winter Warmer. At the present time all flavours of sausages are £4.90 per kilo.

If you want a particular flavour which we do not make, please talk to our butcher and he will do his best to help.

Wet Fish

We can provide a wide range of seasonal fish. Normally we have a selection which includes; mussels, lobster, dover sole, wild sea bass, monkfish, haddock, red gurnard, red mullet, sardines and many more. We can obtain many other seasonal fish to special order. Contact us with your requirements.

All year we have finest Scottish Smoked Salmon, fresh Lobster and oak smoked Kippers available. Plus a range of select yourself individually frozen fish fillets.

Vegetables and Salads

Follows the seasons of the year with our locally grown fresh salads and vegetables.

At times of the year when our locally produced seasonal salads and vegetables are not available, we source from wider afield so that we always have a full range of fresh salads and vegetables to meet your needs. It is always our aim to provide you with the fresh vegetables and salad that you require.

Fruit

English apples and pears, try these old fashioned varieties that the supermarkets don't stock. Strawberries, Raspberries etc. are available in season. At all times of the year we have a range of frozen fruits suitable for all kinds of uses.

We also stock a large range of "select yourself" Frozen Fuits and Vegetables.

Preserves & Sauces

We stock a wide variety of farmhouse Jams & pickles including: several types of marmalade, honey, chutney, horseradish, mayonnaise, pickles, and a wide range of dressings and marinades in many unusual and exciting flavours.

And Finally we have a large range of cakes, biscuits and Burts crisps in exotic flavours.
